Alteraciones dentales en radiografías panorámicas según edad y género En pacientes que acudieron al Centro De Diagnóstico CEIMAX Abancay – 2022

Abstract

El objetivo del estudio fue determinar las alteraciones dentarias en radiografías panorámicas según edad y género en pacientes que acudieron al Centro de Diagnóstico CEIMAX Abancay - 2022. El tipo de investigación tuvo un diseño no experimental de cohorte transversal, retrospectiva con un nivel correlacional. La técnica que se utilizó en la presente investigación fue la observacional. El instrumento a utilizar fue la ficha de recolección de datos (anexo 2), el cual fue utilizado por Alvares M. (2016) presentando un alto nivel de fiabilidad, validez y valores de un alfa de Cronbach de 0,83. La población estuvo conformada por todas las radiografías panorámicas tomadas durante el año 2022, que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión que son un total de 1400. La muestra se realizó con una fórmula de proporción finita teniendo como resultado a 300 radiografías las cuales fueron divididas en dos grupos de 150 cada uno. Los resultados fueron que los varones tienen mejor dentición, con 84% de ellos presentando alguna alteración en comparación de las mujeres donde 96,7% presentan alteración. La presencia de alteraciones en los pacientes, en donde de los 300 pacientes 90,3% presentan alteraciones y solo un 9,7% no presentan alteraciones. De los tres tipos de alteraciones, las alteraciones de forma son las más frecuentes, 86,3% de los pacientes las tienen. Las alteraciones de tamaños 9,7% de los pacientes las presentan y para el tipo alteración de erupción 30,7% de los pacientes que fueron revisados las presentan. La conclusión es si existen alteraciones dentarias en radiografías panorámicas según la edad y género en paciente que acudieron al centro de Diagnóstico CEIMAX de la ciudad de Abancay 2022.

The aim of the study was to determine dental alterations in panoramic radiographs according to age and gender in patients who attended the CEIMAX Abancay Diagnostic Center - 2022. The type of research had a non-experimental design of cross-sectional cohort, retrospective with a correlational level. The technique to be used in this research will be observational. The instrument to be used will be the data collection form (Annex 2), which was used by Alvares M. (2016) presenting a high level of reliability, validity and values of a Cronbach's alpha of 0.83. The population will be made up of all the panoramic radiographs taken during the year 2022, which meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria that are a total of 1400. The sample will be made using a finite proportion formula resulting in 300 radiographs which were divided into two groups of 150 each. The results were that males have better dentition, with 84% of them presenting some alteration in comparison to females where 96.7% present alteration. The presence of alterations in the patients, where of the 300 patients 90.3% present alterations and only 9.7% do not present alterations. Of the three types of alterations, shape alterations are the most frequent, 86.3% of the patients have them, size alterations 9.7% of the patients present them and for the eruption type alteration 30.7% of the patients that were reviewed present them. The conclusion is whether there are dental alterations in panoramic radiographs according to age and gender in patients who attended the Ceimax Diagnostic Center in the city of Abancay 2022.
