Abstract
The present investigation was developed with the objective of determining the degree of contamination in uniforms of students of the Clinical Stomatological Laboratory of the Technological University of the Andes, Abancay 2022, for this purpose, the quantitative approach of descriptive scope and pre-experimental design was taken, the The population consisted of the clinical uniforms of the students, having as a study sample 70 uniforms, taking into account the sleeve, chest and pocket, to determine the degree of contamination before and after performing a dental clinical treatment; The results found from the information processing showed a high degree of bacterial contamination in the uniforms analyzed that there are 36 uniforms that presented a high degree of bacterial contamination after dental treatment, where the part of the uniform that presents the highest degree of contamination is the sleeve, followed by the chest and pocket, therefore, the existence of a high degree of contamination in the uniforms whose value of the T test before was equal to 9,918 and the test after was 35,634, having a difference of 25,716 units, as well as the value of significance that was equal to 0,000; however, one of the parts that presented the highest degree of contamination was the uniform sleeve, since a difference equivalent to 47,665 points was found between before and after. Therefore, it is concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted
