Abstract
El presente estudio se desarrolló con el propósito de analizar los distintos factores
actuantes en la serviciabilidad del pavimento rígido de la prolongación Cusco en la ciudad
de Abancay teniendo en cuenta el estado en el que se encuentra ante daños existentes.
Se empleó la siguiente metodología: el enfoque es cuantitativo y el diseño es no
experimental – transversal descriptivo. Para esto se realizó la evaluación funcional y
estructural del pavimento por medio de procedimientos de ingeniería basados en
estudios y ensayos correspondientes; el tramo evaluado tiene una longitud de 657 metros
y un ancho de calzada de 6 metros, cuenta con 438 losas. Para la evaluación funcional
se empleó el método del índice de condición del pavimento PCI y con ello determinar el
estado del pavimento, de igual manera se realizó el estudio de tráfico que tuvo por efecto
cuantificar el volumen diario de los vehículos. Para la evaluación estructural se consideró
3 puntos de investigación entre las progresivas 0+215, 0+430 y 0+645 donde se
realizaron calicatas para poder extraer muestras representativas de material y evaluar
sus características físicas y mecánicas, las mismas para la extracción de testigos de
concreto con el propósito de obtener la resistencia a la compresión. Finalmente se realizó
la evaluación ante precipitaciones pluviales en la progresiva 0+430 lado derecho con el
fin de obtener la profundidad de socavación.
Conociendo los resultados, se dio paso a obtener las conclusiones del análisis y
las recomendaciones adecuadas para mejorar la serviciabilidad del pavimento.
The present study was developed with the purpose of analyzing the different factors acting on the serviceability of the rigid pavement of the Cusco extension in the city of Abancay, taking into account the state in which it is found due to existing damages. The following methodology was used: the approach is quantitative and the design is non-experimental-descriptive cross-sectional. For this, the functional and structural evaluation of the pavement was carried out through engineering procedures based on studies and tests; The evaluated section has a length of 657 meters and a road width of 6 meters, it has 438 slabs. For the functional evaluation, the PCI pavement condition index method was used to determine the condition of the pavement. In the same way, the traffic study was carried out, which had the effect of quantifying the daily volume of vehicles. For the structural evaluation 3 research points were demonstrated between the progressive 0+215, 0+430 and 0+645 where pits were made to be able to extract representative samples of material and evaluate their physical and mechanical characteristics, the same for the extraction of cores of concrete for the purpose of obtaining compressive strength. Finally, the evaluation was carried out against rainfall on the progressive 0+430 right side in order to obtain the scour depth. Knowing the results, the conclusions of the analysis and appropriate recommendations were obtained to improve the serviceability of the pavement.
