Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine the impact of COVID-19 related to nutritional status in children under 5 years of age at the Bellavista Abancay 2022 health center. the impact of this pandemic on children under 5 years of age can affect their development and nutritional status and can be devastating in the long or short term if it is not given due importance. Methods and materials: A basic, hypothetical deductive, retrospective and cross-sectional research was used; of non-experimental design of relational scope with a quantitative approach with a population of 800 clinical histories of which 261 of these were considered for the study sample, where the sampling was stratified probabilistic and the collection card was used to extract data from the clinical history such as weight, height and nutritional diagnosis. The data from the clinical histories were taken during pandemic times. Results: was found and the cross table between COVID-19 impact and nutritional status, where it can be observed that 58.6% (153) of the participants present a slight impact.
